THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet, is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearences with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. Ice falling from the fear slipping from your face 

...as you hear folk sharing their good cheer

into microphones of night/laughing with delight as

new languages are found (bound in sound)unwrapped

so we might see the true geographies of near.

Step up with your unprepared art/heart finds a head to link to instead

of insecure, you feel sure we will listen (and we do!)

You may have Mayan Calendars  extending years

Prophecies, projections,harmonies/cumulative

Maps and plans on HOW TO LIVE/giving

each to each that specialness unique

when bound down silence transforms into silver speech.

Birdsongs rise from within/you find new wings to sing.

Trees animate with breezes lightening the histories.

In a new step dance, we Pyramid Spiral Seashell

Oceans of Forgiveness, Love and Gratitude.

Attitudes slip like habits to the floor. You are more

than you ever felt before-part of all. Smiling.Tall!
