when Republicans suggest we be more civil in our
discourse
yet
it is 3am and my crazed cat did not get that memo-she tinkles her bell all over
town
wakes
us up with no illumination/just manic movements
protesting

Perched
on the lip of compulsory celebrations
with
waves of tourists flying in/and popped stars partying
our
town has been rented out to the biggest media.
Soon
headlines will "inform"you of strangers in Paradise
how
much visitors love our gridlocked overpriced homelessness
and
when they leave,we can go back to sleep
Meanwhile,we
must OCCUPY our time and space
and
dance sans laminates in a MUSICAL MARCH FOR PEACE
just
for media perspective
Just
to live with our own/in our own home
when
all the lightning tourists/pack up and leave..
