This 'withdrawn' DIDDY WAH DIDDY Advance 'Promotional Only' EPs INSANELY RARE! Finding a copy in it's original Picture Sleeve is difficult enough, but finding a Nr Mint copy, with a matching MINT- condition sleeve is a 'once in a lifetime' purchase! - This record is insanely rare as it was one of only '3 copies' that were taken by a worker at the North Circular Rd, Walthamstow, Pressing Plant on the day the copies were destroyed and who kept them in plastic sleeves (along with many other records of this genre, for over '35 years' with little or no real idea whatsoever of their value until he contacted me and I showed him a UK Record Collector article..)
Incredibly, I turned down the 3rd copy as I cheekily asked for a 50 quid discount on each to take all 3 copies (thinking he'd ring me back!) as getting hold of almost £1000 at that time was a HUGE spend but I would estimate there's possibly just 15 or so (maybe 20 at most..) documented' copies of this record in circulation, most in poor condition probably after 42 YEARS and I've doubt there's not a better copy ANYWHERE!!!
NB. Just a very small run of Advance 'Promotional Only' copies were pressed - [25 -50 depending who you believe!] of which very few were distributed before the project was pulled and the rest destroyed! Hence this has become The Holy Grail for BEEF - ART - ARIANS [& Psych/Garage collectors worldwide!]
