THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. SACRED WATERS

Gift from earth -a fluid deep kiss

weakened by need-pumped to exhaustion

Drink!Before the flow is no longer

bare bone drought hole next to a golf course

While well springs forth,bless this gift

release the flow from chains and contracts

Water will find your thirst and fill it

Cypress Creek village knows and needs this

Before Blue Hole becomes a fenced entertainment

Consider its source-with reverence and respect

Let Jacob's Well flow low and freely

to meet the real needs of community
