THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. LOVE THE LIVING

before they tour with an antique band with missing members

before they only play their hits from the 70s

before eccentric lifestyles present the bill "for services rendered"

before another compilation CD is re-released to a diminishing market

before people start to notice lines,baldness,fluffed lyrics

before they date your daughters/and the daughters remember Freud

before they lose the plot,the wife,the house,the car,the cash

before people forget "OGDEN'S NUT GONE FLAKE"

before carbon footprints cease all possible touring 

before genius is found guilty of ageism

before no one buys any thing-upload this to your memory banks!
