Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" MEASURED BY MOONLIGHT
our little lives are twinkles on the waves of change
grains
of sand on a space rock beach/tiny feathers of a giant bird
who
lifts our spirits when we least resist/and waves us away in dreams
Midnight
to dawn to be reclaimed/from insomniac coffee addict hacker
slackers
Equality
Of Moonlight for every body!No walls,borders,age,limits our perambulations
around the possible
Wearing
beads,blankets ,wampum-we give land back to indigenous
Listen
with respect to civilian culture ancestors/family/friends
Convene
in circles for spiral bound stories/page by page adventures
Night
time is for writing,dreaming,exploring the imperfectly impossible
For
dreams are messengers in another land/when they cross our borders they are
golden
White
pale face moon reflects upon this.Full as a boot and always flying
We
are all little moons in the waters of night-our tiny lives measured by
moonlight...
