John Mayall interview

John Mayall is 80 years old and still going strong. With over 60 albums under his belt the British blues legend has just released his latest, A Special Life, on Forty Below Records.
CKUA's Holger Petersen caught up with the Godfather of the British Blues at his home in Los Angeles to revisit his now classic release, Blues Breakers (1966). The album, often called Beano after the British comic Eric Clapton is reading on the cover, marked the first collaboration between Mayall and Clapton and the beginning of a celebrated musical career.
