Rick Wakeman and Ian Lavender, patrons of East Harling cat charity Feline Care, will be opening the organisation’s latest shop in Diss.

The shop will open at the former Candies shop in Market Place, Diss, on Saturday at 11am.
Wakeman, renowned keyboard player with Yes and having worked with the likes of Elton John and David Bowie, has recently returned to Norfolk from a world tour. He has been a patron of Feline Care for several years after his love of cats initially attracted him to the charity.

He introduced his friend Lavender, better known for playing Private Frank Pike in Dad’s Army, to the charity.
