HALF WAY THROUGH THE SKY
THE QUESTION AROSE-"DO WE HAVE WINGS?" The fact scientific that we were all hurtling through space
@a speed incapable of braking was deemed irrelevant
Vestigial evidence of where wings were once(on shoulder blades)
was deemed by professionals as historical only
And wise men still disputed any evidence of levitation
as circus tricks not worthy of deliberation
They alone held the keys to flightpaths
They would cede this magic to no other being
Bird asked-"Gentlemen!Can YOU fly?"
Case dismissed-look outside-BIRDS TRIUMPHANT!
