Gordon Giltrap to play at Hasland Village Hall

editorial imageGuitar ace Gordon Giltrap will take centre stage at an evening of music, witty chat and anecdotes about life on tour.

His concert at Hasland Village Hall on Tuesday, March 24, is the first event in a partnership between The Friends of Eastwood Park and Live and Local.
Gordon Giltrap is a true guitar ‘legend’ who, at the age of 18 secured his first record deal, has recorded over 25 albums and has worked with many famous names including Mike Oldfield, Brian May, Midge Ure and Cliff Richard.
He shot to fame with the hit single Heartsong which was used for many years by the BBC for their Holiday programme and wrote the theme tune for ITV’s rival Wish You Were Here programme.
