THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" LOVED YOU BEFORE I COULD EVER LOVE

i was alive before.some of you-after

the ones i cannot talk to-hollow laughter!

no looking!no glowing back!fires burn

but they are 78,45,33 and a third

this freedom-how much?

will i have to trade in my credit cards?

these tin stories?they can be traded for aluminum

looks like sweets and a buffet when the wedding party drones come in

Soul Proprietors with one storey eyes

offer Kindness in Cups of cold water

constant as breathing-these changes

they make each line into a fish

these days quiver with jelly excitement

None of us know what will happen!

work has changed money on stock markets

banks roll in other 's wealth /packs

saving souls is not as important as having one

sharing diverse opinions seems wiser than sticking with one.

spark anger.Beware !It burns!

On the one hand.Most experience is second hand.
