THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" TO LIVE (is to live forever..

one breath @ a time.One bullet @ a time.

Walls around flowers.Force over justice

It is our young on the front line.Fantasize

that this infanticide ceases.That our children

are not made by murder.Gunned in cinemas.

Beaten in streets.Protest and project a safe passage for all young

that they might come as innocent as when they began

into a world weary of wounds of wars older than all.

Let youth pass through this gauntlet/labyrinth

not in a Maze -but Amazed and Delighted!

with every bird,bee,flower,tree that grows in gardens

Unfenced and free,let our children BE!
