"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. 

It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?" 

POLITICS OF EMOTIONALISMS

"Politics divides-Culture Unites"

What is the mood of our Election Nation?
Peevishness?Hawkishness?Anger?
Presidential candidates Trumpet hate

Evangelicals ignore Christian values -
-"humility,mercy,compassion,grace"

They vow to "crush ,shred,destroy and bomb"

Apocalyptic anger dispaces moderate dialogue

They want to"make the sand glow in Syria"

They forget closed system Earth-

what terrors you unleash on other peoples

come back to bomb your own cities.

Fear is not love.Hate is not a family value.

There were tribes here before us-indigenous

Perhaps we might listen-to what remains

of our Native Wilderness.
