Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! CHOICES,MOMENTS,PIZZA

IF LIFE IS SLICES OF PIZZA

do we get a choice as to toppings?

What if we like pineapple?seafood?anchovies?

What if our religion hates pizza?

What if others refuse to allow pizza

either as a food item or a philosophy?

You say "Pizza makes me happy!"

You say"Life is a Take Away!"

You do not want home delivery

You prefer to hunt and shop your own way

Some settle for frozen pizza

Some live their whole lives without

You know it is not pizza

I am talking about.
