"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

IT IS GOOD TO REMEMBER!

(it is necessary to forget..

Were we to sit  and see and feel

our empathy might free Palestine

soften wounded Syria,open Iraq and Iran

to creative cultural continuities(again!

Make more flowers than opium in Afghanistan

and solar power Libya so no oil or gas ISIS might explode us

To dream Bernie Sanders President /Elizabeth Warren Vice

might just allow the Uni-Verse to manna-fest!

Ritalin Children!Medicated Elders!You are conscious enough

to conjure up alternatives.(Every Breath a Mantra/Every Step a Song)

As long as we may listen to each other(deeply now-no shallow breathing

we will always be @Ground One-a step in the right direction
