Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! HONORING THE "OTHER"

(There is no OTHER)Holding the shade and shadow

in Light as beloved as much as those who agree.

My friend heals broken love by asking partners

to only say nice things about each other eye to eye.

To hold each other .In touch/a truth.

Softness,compassion,kindness.Scales and modes

of gentleness wherein and whereby we dance within this webwork world

connected at all times-to those who love us and those who may not.

We are a part of all /all is a part of us-not apart!Art is healing.

Art sings  to the wounded like Walt Whitman.

Art wakes moon nights midnight to dawn vigil.

Art stretches out a hand-to hold,to hug,to cuddle and affirm

Everywhere is a safe space when we make it sanctuary
