"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

FIRST RESPONDERS...(Responding

with love,care and attention.Mendicants mending

Doctors doctoring.Wounds stitched and grief expressed-

in prayers and love ,invocations and affirmations shared..

This is always after the event and is rarely preventive

Bandages applied to open wounds-of trust,of peace,of safety

Spaces between us need to be re-consecrated-to be holy again

Not guarded with guns but with love and prayers

No Mars nor Jove nor Jupiter-more laughter,smiles,goodwill

To know that all beings present have our best intent in hand

And to live  with all who value life,love and the pursuit of happiness
