THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

RECENTLY,MY ADOPTED SANCTUARY CITY

has been attacked by the (temporary) Texas Governor.

He did not like the fact we voted out UBER/LYFT

So he restored their access(despite our vote)

He does not like our banning of plastic bags

So he seeks the restore his RIGHT TO POLLUTE

He accuses compassionate Austin of being a SANCTUARY CITY

and takes away funding to punish us

He wishes to ban transgender people from specific bathrooms

to take away any support for abortions .He attacks PLANNED PARENTHOOD

and is for the travel ban on Muslims.You ask why does such hate prosper?
