Members of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters appear on the new album from Spinal Tap character Derek Smalls.
Smalls – portrayed by The Simpsons‘ Harry Shearer – will release ‘Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)’ on April 13 via Twanky Records/BMG. It’s the character’s debut solo LP.
The record features a whole host of big names, including Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, David Crosby, Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen, Peter Frampton, former Yes member Rick Wakeman, Dweezil Zappa, Joe Satriana and Steve Vai.
