Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

TUMBLING TUMBLEWEEDS
TO MOVE IS TO LIVE!
To live is to move!
and no metaphor is more
plant-based
than tumbleweeds.Seeded
then separated
Wind-assisted by storms
and tempests,
they become more than
Texas movies.
There is nothing more
challenging
than an emotional
environment
that changes as you do not
change-
that interdependently
exists outside your purvey.
If each City were a
Desert,consider tumbleweeds
as homeless refugees or
itinerant farm workers
Only they do not farm.They
simply roll around
Like desert dolphins.Wind
farms for Nature.
Round evidence of cycles
deeper than farm and planted crop .
"Nevertheless,they
persist..."
