"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

EMOTIONS WILD HORSES

RUN OUT OF THE CORRAL OF REASON

Ride slipshod over self-excuses

Break the ground of split creek faces

Between WHAT IS and WHAT YOU SEE

Emotions are uncontrollable/wild rivers

Breaking banks and flooding conversations

You never know what you are going to say

You never know how long they are going to stay

They have no manners.Emotions hubris rises

when your Public Face denies your Privacy Statement.

Your Non-Disclosure Statement is Invalid

You have no Return Ticket.You are seen as you are,

subject to moods and whims and wild winds

that blow you off-course,and leave you

sans sails,sans steam,sans motion picture pleasures

You are on stage,in court,in the audience,judging
