THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

WHAT SHE DID WHEN SHE FOUND OUT

That she had cancer-was to celebrate-

Her life-up to now-and every extended moment

which became even more golden when she shared it-

And she did!with wife and circles of friends

with healers and happy people-she celebrated in the ward

and in the hospice-she posted on FACEBOOK(or,rather,her wife did)

and she reminded us all how vital it is to be vital in every way-

in every night -in every day-no matter what happens

No matter what Fate comes to try to take us away

Here we are!Celebrate NOW!TODAY!
