THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

ONE SINGULAR RAINDROP

One moment.One life.One day.One night

Always-crossroads.Always-choices

Each of us a puzzle piece

Fitting together comes naturally

We are more together than apart

We add Life to make more Art

We create in a world tearing itself apart

The path of the open heart.

You-volunteer!.You -altruist!

You -individual! You-collective!

Each singular piece of the puzzle compounds

To make a bigger picture-where we all have parts

Call this LIFE! Call it ART!

The steps you take now create what happens after

You may be one leaf.Together -a Fall.

A carpet of colors ,mulched and fertile for future Seasons
