THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" POLIS/POLITICAL.WHERE PEOPLE GATHER=

Assembly/City Squares=Tahir 2 Tiananmen

Change becomes Public when  gathering stormclouds

accumulate like snowflake Tsunamis.Quantum factors-

1.how many shot?How many injured?

(visible reminders of emotional risk/blood investments

Baron Haussmann demolished Les Halles for Boulevards

not for tourist beauty-more a clear line of fire

if and when those Parisian mobs turned blood hungry

they could be swept away -as in Egypt,Syria,Libya,Algeria..,

Every People's Change has civilian bodies as cobblestones.

Every city Graveyard Pierre La Chaise stories.Bury me

standing up so i can see the colorfilled changes-Velvet Revolutions

Green Revolutions-bodies vs bombs,guns.Casualties ?History,truth

We live in cities on the bones of others' struggles

Our future children will not remember this
