THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Rob Ayling writes:

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded.

It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

IN THE NIGHT,FAIRIES VISIT
THEY HEAL OUR DREAMS WHEN NIGHTMARES ROOST
They paint us as we really wish to be-young,sweet,elfin,faierie
Piskie dust is spilled upon us-we become pixellated
Dream World lasts all moon night long/like a song!-
a lullabye sung to the child inside us.Wake up!
We are adults, elders, looking much like those
who gave us the gift of birth and life.Night is a balm,
a remedy,a bandage for the world's wounds.
Healing lingers like a night moon in bright morning skies
Moon is always in relationship-like closer stars &planets&comets
whose surface we can only see in movies, and NASA space dreams
We live between worlds, within dreams.Balm, bandage, bright art scenes

Wake!and walk into another day's mornings..
