THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

STARS BEYOND STARS
constellations and galaxies

exert a gravity within us

like moon tide seasons push and pull

beyond Hubble-pin pricks of light

become huge spiral systems

numbers beyond numbers

space time curve bends

expanding and contracting

(it is a LIVING uni-verse)

Organic and inter-related

as above,so below

we are each other's air

We steal each other's water

We make each other an "OTHER"

so we can bomb and drone and kill

while the MOTHER OF ALL POEMS

sings as these planets sing

to each other and for each other

as birds sing within trees

to and for and with each other

if we could only see

if we could only sing

together
