Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! IN PRAISE OF CHANGE

The traffic will never be as it was once

The village is now a shopping center

Those you knew are now grown up

The genie will not fit into the bottle

This is why we reach out-

with a pen,computer,paintbrush

to renovate the barn of past

with a balm for the living future

We move,and are kinetic
