GRUMPY OLD RICK VS THE COPS

MUSICIAN and composer Rick Wakeman was apparently stopped by traffic cops in Oxford this weekend.
In a tweet the 68-year old said yesterday that while driving in the city he was asked when he had last had a drink.
He answered: "August 1985" before officers told him 'should have left your system by now then.'
His tweet read:

In Oxford at 3am, 2 traffic cops asked when I'd had my last drink. I replied.August 1985. Should have left your system by now then they said

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
