THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Rob Ayling, yer Gonzo Grande Fromage, writes:

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"


SUNSHINE RESISTANCE!(January 2020)
WE HAVE TO FORGE NEW WORDS!
"Love"has been weaponized
"Peace"a petition/affirmation (ignored)
And we are civilians in a New Word War
With no desire to be"collateral damage"
Nor to live in a 'Free Fire Zone"
This is far past 1984/Brave New World
We need a New New Normal
Where peace and prosperity are mere starting points
and good health and happiness necessary steps
towards communities we can all live within
with no harm coming to any man,woman,child
and every one of us being FOR all of all of us
So we might be/come both song,poem and chorus
And sing our way with new word orders!
