Unless Italian operas,sung home to home
Prosperity comes with ventilators,hand sanitizers,
toilet rolls and paper towels!Gas is down
when we @on lockdown.Time is waiting online.
Time consumes us/our creative ZOOMS us-
but no audience-just us(as we diminish)
Fewer watch.@first,the Internet is breaking

but who needs poetry of powerlessness?
Screens eat our eyes,concentration,time.
So we go back to writing letters
to those in rest/retirement homes.
They are double locked down/no visitors
patrolled by nurses/remote doctors/TELEMEDICINE
Some count their days via trash removal
Some by postal delivery.Some make virtual Meetups/Festivals
Some go black into solitary.We all await Ferlinghetti's
"Rebirth Of Wonder"-and hunger for more
than HULU and NETFLIX!
