Sometimes,evil wins. Dark shadows gather
The wrong victim.Successful felonies.
There is no Happy Ending. When they drive away
Leaving shattered life stories(like Chinatown)
We return -to learn/what writers know-
Always have your characters face a challenge
Whether or not they win-we watch the film(again)
To re-interpret this ending
