"Forest People "-those who lived among
the green
which with dull military camouflage
becomes Syria today
Yemen,Somalia,Libya-anywhere refugees
exit from
when the trees are blown away and
gone.
We were trees,once,in communication
with each other
Growing beautiful on an earth we saw as
sister/brother.
Now we eat roots and leaves,as forest
creatures are depleted
We are depleted.Compassion
fatigues.Wars and walls.
We seek Sanctuary.Safety.Sweetness and
Green.
Time to start tree-planting.Bury the
past
Begin,again..
