Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?
WILD WATERS
WE CANOED ON THE LAST WILDE RIVER IN AMERICA
The Alligator River in Arkansas has no dams stopping its flow
so kayakers and canoeists choose to paddle their craft therein.
Yet i noticed globules of oil on the surface-"Why is this?"(i asked
"Well,Thom,this is a wild area,with strong sunlight -so adventurers
wear lots of sunblock,and it drips into the river /on the surface.."

BARTON SPRINGS IS@THE SPIRIT CORE OF AUSTIN
Floods close the Pool irregularly.Debris floats down.
Dogs do their waste as it flows into Town Lake
where fluoride and chlorine are added.
Then we drink the "Spring"waters..
