Let’s face it. Nobody can play guitar like Steve Howe of Yes. However (no pun intended), Ultimate Classic Rock is teaming up with Lagunitas Brewing Company to give away a chance to take a master class with the legend at his Cross Styles Music Retreat this summer!
Held from Aug. 19-23 at the Full Moon Resort in New York’s Catskills Mountains, the camp will offer workshops with Howe and two other guitarists. Howe will also be on hand for special solo performances and Q&A sessions. Complete information about the retreat can be found at its website.
In our exclusive interview with Howe last month, he said that “the central part of this [retreat] is really the lesser-seen side of myself as well as stylistically, [the] solo guitar playing [which] is central to my work. At various times in my career, it gets a lot of attention, because I need to give it a lot of attention, [because] I love it.”
