THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Rob Ayling, yer Gonzo Grande Fromage, writes: 
"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

 The Intersectionality Wars
SIMPLISTIC CLICHES/VICTIM POLITICS
"Intersectionality"as the umbrella over a rain of words
that end up as"hashtag clutter"when used  selectively
whether to criticize the limits of comedy or veganism.
Inequality is real.Identity politics is  as limiting as political elites.
Identity Empowerment might apply to progressive equalizing policies..
but we are more than victims,even when compounded in disadvantage..
Attempts to level the playing field are admirable-but..who pays?
One sixteenth Native American blood group allows special status.
Native American Churches can dispense peyote to those deemed indigenous.
Casinos are set up to empower economically special (selective)tribes
This is analogous to the idea of "intersectionality"
Just substitute women of color,those disabled ,all oppressed folk
and you have a list of grievances needing immediate addressing.
Self-help groups?Pressure groups?Clans?Factions?Religions?

There are no limits to such advocacies..Do we even need the term"intersectionality?"
