THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

BIG BOX &MA &POP

EVERYTHING HAPPENS@ONCE

While big box stores are closing down

Now that all Malls have been replaced by AMAZON

And shopping /retail therapy now a virtual/online experience

Ma &Pa small shops are also closing

as they cannot meet the WAL-MART price comparison

WAL-MART has volume trading.Ma&Pa just themselves

So while Behometh= J C Penneys /SEARS /RADIO SHACK

close down hundreds of stores,small stores are not replacing them

It is like closing down flights to small towns,or Greyhound/Amtrak services

There is a need not being met.Big cities have Big stores with big prices

Small towns watch the Freeway by-pass them,and never feel the need to slow down &EXIT

Everywhere is a Village.Welcome back,Ma&Pop independent coffee shops!(and Food Vans!
