THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

HANGING CHADS AND JUDGES

WHICH IS TO BE MASTER?

Moon by day simple as stars by night

Neither be Master/both be Guides

And Zen/when Everything is a Meditation

Everywhere a Temple to Understand within

it matter less division,differences,defenses,difficulties

Only Acceptance/Surrender/Willingness to Align

with that Great River of Stars in the Sky/under whose signs

we boast our miniature Cavalcade of Caravans Tumbling Torments

Solved and Sorted.If we can name them,we can claim them!

Empires began like this-and Sciences!Etymology.Archaeology.

Solutions and Panaceas call like Medicinal Herbs ,Plants,

All is Holy!Even the Horror of Failure to Thrive,

when every seed turns stone,everywhere a Wall/War..

Everyone a NO!NO!Then,i guess,we turn to Flowers again-

Bach Remedies,Wildflowers,Silence,Song and Speech

To Sing our way into Blake's Paradise

and sit and dream upon a nearby nightsky beach.
