It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?
LUDICROUS
SURREALISM IS REALITY ON STEROIDS
Abstraction is art away from description
Politics is trust (stolen)
Ludicrous the Age we live within
Common Sense is not common
FACEBOOK "Friends"are not friendly
We "Like"and "Share" and "Agree"
but all conversation is a one-way mirror
It is also ludicrous to assert
That comedy is an industry
That poetry is history
That music is recycling riffs
Festivals are for Laminates
Cities turn high-rise
Village is a Fairy Tale
and there is no Re-Verse button
So we use IMAGINATION
to conjure up new visions
To laugh for a good reason
To always be surprised by spontaneity
And the ludicrous becomes palatable
because we will not accept it..
