THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

THE WONDER OF WONDER

To leave all you have known

on the track of butterflies or Amazons

or mythical disappearing dodos

or even Bigfoot or Yetis or Loch Ness monsters

or aliens or abductees or conspiracies theories

or in court with Alex Jones as he debunks school shootings

as "staged events",while new shooters quote old mass murderers

as their primary reference points.To live in this time is a miracle.Like chickens in Bastrop..

To open your mind to the impossible is a start-to Schrodinger's Cats

and Black Swans,Dark Matter and Black Holes.Perfectly fine !To consider
