Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! you did not know you had.Willpower.Hope.Determination-
these are not found in any pill,potion or pharmacy.
They are found in the glint of eye,smile on face
and an ability to connect to all Life Force
in order to continue .Once those buried
had a bell to ring in case they woke up from a coma in a coffin
and wanted to let folk know they were still alive.
We all know people who have cheated death far too many times-
elders who thrive with no visible means of emotional support.
