Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

EVERYTHING HISTORIC
THIS IS OUR YEAR ZERO

Only it happened faster than a virus

First 250 could meet then 100,50,10

Now total lock down in every city,village,town

Only essential services continue.Forget creative cultures

Forget communities,interwoven

Forget love of elders,tribe,clan,friends

Six feet apart ,wiped clean of association

Bleached and Lysoled to sterility

Forget Freedom of Assembly

Now they want the Right to Imprison

Those who do not follow these directions

We dare not look back to a month or more

What was once freedom is now banned by law.
