So we demonstrated outside the Texas Capitol
for PEACE and LOVE ,EQUALITY and FREEDOM
With guitars,songs and poems,we smiled together..
But that was pre-pandemic,and now the faces
are carrying weapons,looking grim,carrying children.
They claim they want a RIGHT TO WORK,
so the Governor hears them,opens business
and the casualty rates rise exponentially.
Who do you listen to?/I hear you
when you say you are afraid.Fear becomes anger
when not heard.Death is the only argument
that ears cannot hear.So i am masked in public,
socially distant,and wash my hands too often.
Whatever happens next-is in your hands...
Wash them,please.
