Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

Adapting and adjusting to expectations

Oil is down so gas is cheap

but even while flights are cheaper

there is more danger .We are the virus,

so we staycation,revise travel plans

to regional bliss.Pay for parks,sit on City Beach.

'This,too,will pass"-like Casualty Lists.We adjust to limits-

on supply chains,travel,restaurants.25%to 50%-

same as unemployment and the virus count.We cannot demonstrate,

nor Festivate-virus thrives on gatherings.Indoors ,Zen-gardens,meditate.

Maybe a drive down to the local Lake.but boats are banned,

so we dream of freedom,while still masked-and social distancing..
