THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

WHY I STAY

I have sampled the information outlets-

Whatsapp,Instagram,Pinterest,etc

Use blogs ,websites,email (but do not text)

Operate @one percent of possible positive poetic postings

Largely get junk sales calls by phone

'No one comes to our door to sell anymore

So in the lockdown of indefinite proportions

I use largely ZOOM and FACEBOOK to reach

those who i once knew in the "real"world.

I am hungry for my friends

I send out poetry on postcards

Mail poetry books to consenting people

Email for responses,and respond to calls from others

but my limits are larger than my skills.In this "New"World,

we sign away our privacy simply by using virtual tools(Cambridge Analytica)

I have been hacked,and had my identity stolen

All the anti-virus tools  and firewalls have backdoor entrances.

So,in the interests of clear communication-i use what is-
