THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

COULD NOT SEE THE SUPERMOON

WINTER CLOUDS BRING COLD SNAP

Chad,Iran,Syria,North Korea

Somalia ,Syria and Yemen need love!

Deserts and drought,hunger and wars

need music and art,poetry and dance(folk cultures)

So WASSAIL and Kids 4 Kids seek wells and tools for Sudan

So water can be found and shared,and children can grow

into a world where walls fall,and harvests rise

and all those Ancient Empires can resurrect

into and with care,compassion ,gentleness.

Wishcraft has power,even when our Moon hides from us

Love has Light,meant to be shared with all of us.

Just ask all those solar cells raised to catch Old Sol's reflections

Then look @the moon on the face of waters ,also meant for every one...
