MARTIN SPRINGETT - News From The Potting Shed - The Parade of Possibilities - V3

Here is the third of Martin Springett's ideas for artwork for the next album, 'Strange Kingdom'.

Martin asks, "Who are these little fellas? They are PITCHER CATS. There are two musical puns within the image. If you find them, you win a free Pitcher Cat poster or postcard, depending on what you have room for. What do they have to do with the song? Nothing and everything. The song is not only about the band I was in at the time, with all it's joys and absurdities, but about the creative personal space I was in at the time, and the songs and stories I felt compelled to write. Many years later, the image here came out of explorations for a Gardening Club graphic novel. Pitcher plants were in the garden, then overnight, as it were, they evolved into Pitcher Cats and other sentient plants appeared, that could natter away about this and that, so you could converse with them as you walked about The Garden. Lots of garden variety philosophers within The Garden walls."

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
