NOT THAT EASTERN ROMAN EMPEROR(364-378 BC)
Not even Mexican-American Ritchie Valens of LA BAMBA fame
more that Saint created by Pope Saint Galasius
(or were there TWO-St.Valentines?)Not Hallmark cards nor chocolates,
nor roses that will not last-more the VALENS of strength, endurance,
power ,and strong love. Consider health care workers, as they give
their lives and time so that we may live. Carers and domestic workers,
who for minimum wage add their strength and skills to aid our elders.
This is no sentimental re-run of a teen-aged adolescent movie,
nor a candle-lit restaurant with no social distancing, nor masks.
It is those nurses and doctors giving transfusions, adding ventilators
to help and heal those victims of this latest Plague. And journalists,
whistleblowers, seeking truth and gaining only coverups. And those you know
volunteering, assisting others. These are the true makers and transmitters of love.
No St. Valentine's Day Massacre here-more a building of connections between us-
alive!living!strong and Building Back Better! With LOVE!and strength/goodwill- before during and after
Saint Valentine's Day!
