An evening of beautiful compositions, wit and charm

Gordon Giltrap and Oliver WakemanONE of the UK’s most respected guitar legends is joining forces with the next generation of keyboard wizardry.
Autumn 2012 saw the beginning of a new project for guitar legend Gordon Giltrap and keyboardist Oliver Wakeman which saw the pair release the album Ravens & Lullabies.
Following the success of a string of public performances to support the album the duo have announced they will be back on the road.
They will be showcasing a selection of pieces from the album as well as new arrangements of classic material from both of their retrospective careers.
Gordon said: “This project will see a return to my prog rock roots, and the prospect of working with a man considered by many to be one of the best in the business truly excites me."
Oliver added: "After working with YES, the chance of working with another legendary guitarist was an opportunity too good to miss.
“I am having a wonderfully productive time working with Gordon and feel we are creating something genuinely unique in our project.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
