Rob Ayling writes:
"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" (The wondrous poetpic is by Jack McCabe, who I hope forgives me for scribbling all over it with Photoshop)
Fw: All That Is Limitless by Hannah Gamble
@5.01,the phone rang once
(eye
thought it was alarm
"It
only rang once"
i
slip back into seasleep
waves
away,dream creamy smiles
all
is right for a micro-while
and
i can put aside all murdered forests
eaten
animals,slaughtered wilderness
hard
rock squares dumped in rivers
political
lies and spying governments
sit
in simple ,pale and wan
slip
back into bright romance with dreamlife
that
sustains all green and growing
Outside,buds
and blossoms post-rain
Full
wheelbarrows of borrowed wet
i
will pour these into voluntears
who
come when not called
who
fill my wet cheers when governments are dismissed
simply
because they were simple enough
to
wish goodness upon people-
arts,and
peace,prosperity-banished like indigenous
to
be invisible both blessing and a curse
if
you cannot see us,we may survive
if
you cannot love us-how can we stay alive?
