THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

FACTS WON'T CHANMGE MY MIND

WE ARE LIVING IN A POST-FACT WORLD

Ad hocery is a mockery of the rational

Emotionalisms rule on fake news sites

Hate is directed to anyone we don't like

And that list is as long as our fear

that change might change all things in here

So we revert to THE GLORIOUS PAST

with spurious examples of what might last

but it is foolish fond and frolicsome

We are following .Just following

and those who"lead"us by the nose

have no clue.On we go..

If mind could work as well as heart

Our only life would be our Art!
